With COVID19 leading to the closure of pubs and restaurants across the U.K., the Somerford Arms, an award-winning pub restaurant in the heart of rural Wiltshire, required an online trading platform that was :-

• Swift to implement
• Simple to use
• Allowed collections slots to facilitate social distancing
• Allowed varied collection slots dependent on the product purchased
• Enabled a flexible approach to cope with the constantly shifting lockdown regulations

Working in close collaboration with OdysseyCX and i23Design, an Ecommerce platform was built into the existing website.

The solution was successfully launched in Summer 2020, and has been adapted and maintained since then to cater for changing client needs arising from the challenges of COVID19.

This is just one of several Ecommerce platforms we have delivered during 2020 – each of which has a slightly different look, feel, and delivery method.  We firmly believe that a “one size fits all” approach does not achieve best results in this sector, so we work closely with our clients to understand their needs, and use our blend of supply chain and systems experience to deliver a customised solution that works best for their particular requirements.
