We use fixed wireless point to point technology to create a back-haul network that connects your property to a transmitter located nearby.
We do not always require a direct and clear line of sight to our transmitter to achieve high performance, and we can also look at the use of “donor” sites to deliver internet over several “hops”.
We only use the latest high performance hardware to ensure the maximum life expectancy of your new connection.
We Install An Antenna
A small antenna is fixed to the exterior of your property, pointing to our transmission station and will receive the superfast broadband signal, eliminating problems associated with copper cables and distances from exchanges and cabinets.
You Use a Router
A small router is located within your property, and connected to the antenna with a network cable. The router then provides wired and wireless access to the internet.
Connect To Our Network
Once you’re connected to our network, you’ll have access to superfast broadband.
At our main data hub, we have several ultrafast internet connections, where all internet traffic is sent and received.
What “speed” can I get ?
In all honesty, it’s the capacity of your connection we’re concerned with, rather than the “speed” !
When you consider that even the hungriest of HD streaming services require only around 6Mbps, unless you can watch 2 TVs simultaneously, it’s unlikely you would require more than 10Mbps in a small household.
However, for the larger family residential users, we can provide up to 50Mbps download and 20Mbps upload to keep everyone in the household streaming, gaming and browsing. A range of packages are available to suit your needs and budget.
